Slime Care
What is slime activator and how to use it?
- It helps create and keep the slime together.
- Before you play with your slime, touch it gently to see if it's sticky. If it's sticky, you can add a tiny bit of the slime activator to make it less sticky be sure to add a little at a time until it is at the desired texture.
- But be careful! If you add too much, your slime will turn stiff and over activated
How to create your own slime activator at home:
- Take the borax powder that came with your order.
- Measure one cup of warm water and add the activator powder to it.
- Add half a teaspoon of the powder if you prefer.
- Stir the mixture until the powder dissolves completely, and you're all set!
Is your slime too hard?
Opaque (white glue based): For opaque (white glue-based) slime, add a small amount of lotion and mix it with the slime until you reach the desired consistency. If that doesn't work, try massaging the slime in hot water or use vegitable glycerin
Clear (clear glue based): To make clear slime softer, leave it in an airtight container in a sunny spot, like a windowsill, for a few days without touching it or you can add vegitable glycerin or hand sanitizer.
Tips
Do not add lotion into clear slimes this will make you clear slime go foggy.
Wash you hands before and after playing with your slime cause if your slime gets bacteria or dirt in it this can cause the slime to shrink
